Next Show: Sept 26th

Welcome to the home page of the band Pale Horse, representing un-compromising rock n' roll the way it was and the way it should be. A four piece hailing from NY, Pale Horse brings hard rock back to its roots, to create a sound that just might be the best thing you ever heard. Or kill you. Possibly both. Our music is guaranteed to get your feet tapping and your head banging. Our rock-metal-blues sound is enjoyed by fans of all genres, except, of course, those that suck. Formed in 2001, the band's current lineup was completed in mid-2002. Playing all over the tri-state area, their primal lust for volume is matched only by their appetite for debauchery.

Pale Horse is having its first (public) gig in a long time, and it is a worthy comeback show. We're playing Saturday October 17th at Duff's in Brooklyn. We go on at 9. It's also our favorite bartender's birthday/10th anniversary party. So come down for Laurieanne's sake if not ours (but show up at 9). The shows page has the details.

We'd like to welcome our new drummer, Steve, into the fold. Steve is a tried-and-true metal drumming maniac, and has been given the rest of us finger/throat problems trying to keep up with him.

So, we are back in business and you should all expect new show dates this July/August.

Pale Horse is once again drummerless, and we're searching for the right person. Here's the ad we've been pasting each week on craigslist. Interested parties can get in touch with us via myspazce or at troller2raven@yahoo.ca or nagy666@gmail.com

"Pale Horse is a long-running NYC metal band (www.pale-horse.com or www.myspace.com/palehorsenyc) looking for a new drummer.

Our influences include Motorhead, AC/DC, Maiden, Anthrax, Megadeth...those sort of things. We are obviously a metal band, but try to bring a lot of other influences to it. We'd welcome a drummer skilled or interested in different sytle who would add something unique. Our music has been described as punk so often I guess I should put that in too (something we are happy to hear but don't really understand :).

We're looking for a dedicated and skilled drummer to join us. The former is more important than the latter, though please be able to play fast. Also you need your own kit.

You would be a full-on member, with equal say in composition, booking, and other decisions. You'd also be responsible for your share of expenses (and get your share profits of course). Regular expenses include 1/4 of rental for our practice room ($55/mo), that's about it. We are 3 dedicated, mature adults who have a great time doing this. I regret having to say this but please don't be a flake.

We'd like to record an album as soon as you're ready and start touring, etc., hopefully summer '09 or sooner (that depends on you).

Nearly all of our songs are available for download so take a listen and contact Chris if you are interested."

Some idiot put our Red Star show down as June 2nd on the shows page, when it is really on June 21st. Sorry.

We'll be on 409 Radio in Poughkeepsie this Saturday, June 7th at 9pm. It's broadcast on the web at TalkRadioX OR, for the true hardcores, on CB Radio Channel 19. You can call in and compliment/criticize/heckle us during the show at 845 831 0718.

It has been forever and a day, but we've finally got this website up and running again...After a near year-long hiatus, we are back in action with a new drummer, Justin. We've got shows coming up and a few other appearances.
Our next show is on June 21st at the Red Star in Greenpoint. We're on at 10pm. As always, details on the shows page.

We also did some fancy-pants promo pics with a great photographer and fun-as-hell chick, Debra Mitten (aka Little Miss Shutterbug). You can go to her site or our myspace page to see a few.

I've also updated the audio page with some new songs and some better live tracks. We're still saving for a second studio recording, more about that in the near future.
